Arriving at Dublin’s Convention Centre on 23rd and 24th September 2019, PrivSec Dublin brings CEOs, security chiefs and IT specialists to the forefront of the cyber-security debate.
Keynote talks and panel discussions across three specialist theatres will explore the merging of cyber-security and data privacy, enabling the event’s 1,000 attendees to understand the issues driving data protection and regulatory compliance around the globe today.
Challenges in compliant, competitive marketing
The last two decades have seen the advertising industry evolve considerably. One of the key dynamics of this evolution has been the movement of data purchasing, processing and selling into the digital space where automation rules.
Today, the ICO is more concerned than ever about how companies thrive in this climate, and the impact that organisational advertising behaviours have on individual privacy.
Real-time bidding for advertising space has become a key focus, owing to the high level of complaints that the regulator has received. There are now major concerns around, and investigations into what actually happens to people’s data and how it is handled through modern advertising processes.
