Data Protection World Forum and McAfee present an exclusive webinar focused on heightening cloud security.
Nigel Hawthorn, EMEA & Privacy Spokesperson of McAfee, will provide expert insight and detail the benefits of utilizing the 360-Degree Shared Responsibility Model in cloud security.
Still floating in the clouds?
The webinar will focus on what cloud security means to us now and how it can be further advanced through the act of central accountability.
Cloud security can be defined as a set of controlled policies and procedures designed to ensure data and applications within them are protected. This can be done through the system having structured regulation.
Various industries and governmental structures have continuously seen the benefits of using cloud security in their computing systems.
According to LoginMonitor, 83% of corporate workloads will be stored within a form of cloud security by 2020. As cloud security data grows, risk increases because organizations are purchasing the minimum level of protection needed, giving a false impression of how secure their data and networks are.
A recent survey conducted by Barracuda Networks Inc asked 550 I.T decision-makers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions and had some concerning discoveries. The survey reported that less than 45% of respondents believe their current public cloud has a complete level of security, while more than 50% of respondents were going to implement more security protocols in their cloud environment.
What the webinar will cover
This presentation will use real-life examples showing how you can check the levels of security within your organization and how to apply a 360-degree level of responsibility.
The discussion will also cover how this form of collaboration must be processed by group structures, policies, and technology, exploring different risk scenarios and how best to apply strategies to prevent any security dangers.
A 15-minute live audience Q&A session will follow the 45-minute webinar.
